FAQ
DOGS:
Will my pet get undivided attention?
YES, we also provide personalized enrichment for a small fee of $15 per day where your pet gets to be with our enrichment specialist. Enrichment is personalized to your pet, if you have an active dog that could go on a hike on the premise or maybe more of a cuddler, it could be reading a book in the quietness of our onsite house or under one of our beautiful apple trees.
Will they be able to play with other dogs?
We temperament test our guests and will match them up with who we think is the best companion while they are with us. If there are no good matches, your pet will always have one of our staff members as their buddy while they are enjoying yard time.
What if my dog is aggressive, can you handle them?
We can handle all dogs of any temperament as long as they will access their outside runs to potty. It is our mission to keep the guests and staff safe.
Do you accept all breeds?
Yes, we love all breeds of dogs and we take intact pets as well.
What if my pet is medical fragile?
We charge a small fee of $5 per day. We keep a set schedule with all medication and log when the meds were given and by whom. Our staff is trained to care for medically fragile pets.
Can we board both of our dogs in the same run?
Yes, we can keep them together as long as they are not prone to fighting. If it becomes necessary, we will separate them.
Can we bring bedding and toys?
We provide bedding but we do allow a towel, small blanket, or a shirt that smells like you! We also allow 1 toy and 1 chew bone for each guest. We ask that the toy does not squeak as we are mindful of our other guests boarding with us. We do suggest that you bring treats to be able to spoil and reward good behavior. Bringing your own treats allows us to help control allergies.
What exercise will my pet get?
We offer add ons for their stay. You can chose a walk or yard time. The walk is up our drive, through our beautifully wooded scenic property and yard time is in our 6ft fenced in grass area. Yard times are supervised by staff where your pet can enjoy frisbee or ball for about 20 minutes given the climate and actions of your companion.
CATS:
Do they get out?
Yes, we allow the cats to have time out of their hotel to be in our cat room where they have toys, a cat tree and scratching posts.
Can I bring a toy for my cat or bedding?
We provide bedding for our cats but you are welcome to bring one toy for their play time.
